The world is not the same as it once was. Or rather, it’s more correct to say that all worlds are now one. No matter how well-intentioned the act of doing so was, there will always be inherent dangers with the act of combining things kept separate for a reason. Things that are meant to be isolated for their own safety now risk collision with entities that pose an inherent danger. The definitions of predator and prey naturally change with such radical change, and no one can predict how the dice will roll as the world settles into its new state.

Across the deep and vast expanse of stars, a lone figure stood towering over the ashes of a shattered world, the wind billowing through to lift both his tattered and torn cape and his thick mane of wild and spiked hair. His furry prehensile tail swayed with a rippling motion, content and satisfied with his work on this pitiful world. He took one step and marched toward a struggling soul crawling through the dirt as quickly as their broken body could carry them. But he closed upon them far too quickly, placing the heel of his boot into their back.

“No! No, stop! Ple-”

The cries that begged for mercy were cut short when an outstretched palm released a flux of vitalized and powerful energy, discharging the blast to cut short the whimpering before the winds could carry such weakness like an echo to reverberate throughout the field.

“Such weakness is not permissible among Saiyans. Let your death purify our race.”

7 Beyga☻♦.png

His outstretched palm hummed still with power from the exertion of his release, a small feat that would have greater lasting impact as the Saiyan warrior claimed the life of the one beneath him. He exhaled slowly, letting the profound sadness of the cleansing wash over him. It was uncomfortably easy to defeat these other Saiyans - but didn’t make it pleasant. Knowing that such unforgivable weakness permeated through the Saiyan race was a sin against the pride and strength their species was known for. It still didn’t answer the question how so many other planets claiming to be the Saiyan homeworld suddenly appeared, nor did it explain the sudden explosive boom in their species’ population. Still, knowing that the Saiyan empire could not only find itself restored but thrive in greater volume was an optimistic prospect. If not for how disgustingly soft-hearted and pathetic many of these failures to their race were. It was an insult to everything that made a Saiyan a Saiyan. The proud soldier looked up to gaze upon the stars with a weary expression. How much more cleansing would he have to do in service to his people?

“Captain Beyga. The remaining forces have surrendered. The weak have been weeded out, and the true Saiyans among this sorry lot have revealed their strength.”

The now-proclaimed Beyga didn’t yet turn to face his subordinate, simply deigning to nod in acknowledgement.

Beyga: “They exterminated the weakness among their ranks themselves, then?”

Soldier: “With impunity, sir. Their pride has been restored, and they have proven themselves as true Saiyans!”

Beyga: “Good. Good… Finish conscription and prepare them for unification with the rest. Ensure they reach New Sadala properly. Once this insult to our home is vacated, turn it to space dust.”

The soldier bowed with a salute, kneeling in respect to his superior officer. And then he spoke out again;

Soldier: “And one more thing, sir. The analysts say that the specialized blaster will be ready in a few more days.”

Beyga paused, taking a moment to consider this information. This could accelerate their plans in a fortuitous manner. If that was nearly completed, then eliminating the abomination that is whispered about among the stars would prove easy. He reached into a pouch in his armor’s pocket, fishing out a small green gem before squeezing it firmly in anticipation. And then the captain’s calm and composed featured stretched in a smug grin.

Beyga: “Chart a course to Earth.”

The restorations to the once defunct and abandoned building were nearly completed and the building was at the very least, operational and no longer a safety hazard for occupants. The hall existed outside of all city limits, safely located at the center of all major cities while maintaining neutral territorial occupation where the trio of heroes busied themselves with preparing for patrol. For all his eagerness and elation at the Hall of Justice nearly being fully restored, Sparga still felt like something was missing… It was too empty. Too big for just three people. And he didn’t even live here. Still, he should stay focused on the positives. This building used to mean something, and with the same effort he was putting in to the symbol on his chest, it could do that again.

He took a moment to collect his thoughts, sipping from a pot of coffee while taking in the construction. The sound of footsteps approaching from behind signaled that he wasn’t alone, but there shouldn’t be any unauthorized personal wandering the premises.

Green Lantern: “... Dude, isn’t that like your sixth pot of coffee? How are you not bouncing off the walls?”

Sparga: “Solar-enhanced hyper-metabolism. I don’t even really need it to stay awake.”

Green Lantern: “So…. You drank six whole pots of black coffee just for the taste? …Supes. Buddy. What the hell?”

Miso grimaced at the notion, visibly disgusted at the idea of someone enjoying such a bitter beverage in such large bulk. He could almost retch at the concept, preferring his coffee how the Heavens intended; iced and with a copious amount of cream in a rationally modest single disposable cup. How Sparga stomached such a rancid and acrid flavor was beyond him. But then again, could he really be surprised? He saw the Saiyan Kryptonian hybrid shovel down fifty eight cheeseburgers in one sitting. His wallet was still feeling that, and Miso vowed after that that he’d never buy lunch for the team again.

Sparga simply chuckled and waved the pot of piping hot coffee around casually and without a care in the world, his tail flickering lazily in comfortable ease.

Sparga: “What can I say? I’m a man of simple needs.”

Miso: “Simple is one thing, but bro… C’mon.”

The alarm began to blare, signalling to them that activity which required their particular brand of attention was occurring. The two hurried toward the monitor and Miso quickly began typing at the keyboard with a few quick brush strokes of practiced ease.

Miso: “Looks like another ship entered Earth’s atmosphere. Unknown origin. Could be hostile.”

Sparga: “Could be, or it could be people who need help. We won’t know until we get up there
.”

Miso: “Should we wait for Braiselle?”

Sparga: “No, my gut tells me we need to get up there now.”

Miso: “Yeah, last time you said that, you got stabbed before you could even finish saying hello.”

Sparga: “You don’t need to remind me about that. But this time, we’ll be ready for any tricks.”

Without further vacillation, the two took flight and soared up into the clouds at breakneck speed to meet the incoming vessel before it breached too far into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Somewhere on Earth, a young saiyan sat cross-legged atop a towering rock pillar. His posture was perfectly straight, his breathing slow and his hands rested lightly on his knees as he sank deeper into concentration. Though his body was still, his mind was anything but idle, the air around him trembled faintly with restrained ki, creating a subtle distortion that rippled outward from the pillar similar to a heatwave. Within the silence of meditation, Lotren had been in a unique kind of sparring session, one that existed entirely in the realm of instinct, memory, and willpower. He pictured his grandfather, Turles, standing before him with arms, in his mental world, the barren desert around the pillar gave way to a fractured wasteland filled with craters, shattered cliffs, and the lingering smoke of constant collisions. Turles attacked first as he always did, appearing in a blur and driving forward, Lotren answered in kind, matching his grandfather’s imagined strikes with quick evasions, counters, and bursts of force that sent shockwaves through the illusion. Even in image training, the pressure felt real.

The clash inside his mind intensified with every passing second, becoming an exchange of fists, knees, elbows, and ki bursts. Lotren’s mental version of himself darted low to avoid a punch, then rose with a sharp uppercut that Turles just narrowly deflected with one forearm. Their movements became harder to follow as speed overtook form, until they were little more than flashes of motion colliding in midair and vanishing again. He hated how even the image of gis grandad carried that same sense of superiority, that irritation only fueled Lotren further, pushing him to sharpen his control instead of letting frustration break his concentration. Then, all at once, something changed. A foreign power signature came into existence, sudden and intense enough to disrupt Lotren’s concentration. His brow twitched, and his composed expression tightened into one of faint annoyance. To have his training interrupted was very irritating, but the power of the energy kept him from dismissing it outright.

Still seated atop the stone pillar, the young saiyan turned his head fully in the direction of the signature and let the wind tug at his hair and clothing while he assessed it more carefully. The energy felt volatile, potent enough that it stirred the old thrill in his blood, the one that every Saiyan knew too well. For a few moments longer, he refused to move, remaining in his meditative posture, but the tension had shifted already, and he could no longer return to his training if he wasn't going to be fully focused on it.

Eventually, Lotren decided to stand up on the rock pillar, his boots settled firmly against the stone as he stood and continued staring into the distance. The wind pushed past him more fiercely now, stirring dust and trailing loose fragments of grit over the pillar’s edge. He rolled one shoulder back, then the other, loosening the last trace of meditation from his muscles, a small grin almost formed, but it stopped short.

Lotren: Finally, something exciting since I got here!

Pebbles around his feet trembled, then lifted slightly off the pillar before spinning outward. Lotren bent his knees only slightly before pushing off the stone without any real effort, and his body lifted into the air. Hovering a short distance above the pillar, he gave the horizon one final look, confirming the direction of the strange arrival. The thought crossed his mind that Lottus would probably call this reckless, but that only made the decision feel more satisfying, this was real action. The pulse of excitement in his chest sharpened as he leaned forward and let instinct guide the rest. Shortly after, he moved into motion. A thunderous burst cracked through the desert as Lotren shot across the sky at incredible speed, leaving behind a violent ring of displaced air and a streak of fading energy where he had been. The massive rock pillar shuddered under the force of his departure, scattering chips of stone into the open air while clouds above him split around his ascent. His eyes remained fixed ahead, focused entirely on the growing sensation of that power signature. Whatever had arrived had cut short his training, interrupted his peace, and stirred the battle-hunger in his Saiyan blood. For Lotren, that was reason enough to meet it head-on.

The morning sunlight poured into the secluded mountain valley as Rutaba stood in the middle of his training ground. Broken rocks, damaged trees, and several deep craters from yesterday’s training surrounded him. The eight-year-old Saiyan wiped sweat from his forehead and looked over the mess with a proud grin. His hair wasn’t black anymore. It was bright golden and stuck straight up, surrounded by a flickering golden aura. He’d transformed into a Super Saiyan before the sun even came up, and he was dead set on keeping it going the whole day.

His clothes were already covered in dirt, but that didn’t bother him one bit. If anything, he looked more excited than ever. The golden aura around him pulsed unevenly — sometimes flaring bright, sometimes shrinking close to his skin. Keeping the form active was already hard, but Rutaba refused to let it drop.

“Okay!” he shouted, planting his feet. “Today I’m doing something different! No fighting giant animals, no punching mountains all day, and definitely no running away from explosions!” He paused and thought about that last part. “…Well, maybe a few explosions.” He raised both hands in front of himself and focused. A faint blue aura started flickering inside his golden Super Saiyan energy. “Today I’m gonna practice my elemental ki!”

He took a slow breath and felt the transformation pulling at his stamina. His golden aura surged, and he quickly forced it back under control before it could fade. “Stay on,” he muttered. “I’m keeping Super Saiyan all day. I can do this.”

Rutaba had only recently noticed something weird about his ki. Normally it was bright blue, but every now and then another kind of energy showed up inside it. He’d already seen little flashes of orange-red fire, and he was pretty sure there was a lot more hiding under the surface. The problem was his ki control was still rough. At only ten percent, just keeping his energy steady was tough enough without trying to mess with different elements at the same time. Maintaining Super Saiyan made everything even harder. The form made him stronger, but it also made every mistake hit harder.

He started with Fire Ki.

Rutaba slowly brought his hands together and gathered a small sphere of blue energy between his palms. He concentrated, trying to remember that strange flame he’d made last time. “Come on,” he muttered. “I know you’re in there.” The blue ki trembled, then an orange-red spark appeared right in the middle. His eyes went wide. “There!” The spark grew into a little flame twisting around the blue energy. His golden aura flared in response and he quickly forced it back down. “Fire!”

The flame suddenly got bigger.

“Uh-oh.”

BOOOOM!

The explosion knocked him backward and sent him rolling across the grass. His golden aura flickered like crazy while he tumbled, but somehow he managed to keep Super Saiyan going. He finally stopped, sat up, and stared at the smoke coming off his hands. His golden hair was a little singed. He blinked a few times, then grinned.

“Okay… so I can make fire.” He looked at his hands again. “I just gotta make sure the fire doesn’t make ME explode.”

He stood up and checked his aura. It was still there, but weaker. He clenched his fists and focused until the golden energy steadied again. “I’m not turning back,” he said firmly. “Not today.”

Instead of quitting, he decided to make the technique smaller. He gathered ki around his right fist and slowly mixed in the Fire Ki. Orange-red flames wrapped around his knuckles without immediately blowing up. His grin got even bigger. “Firecracker Fist!” He rushed a big training boulder and punched it. The rock cracked and a burst of flames spread across the surface. He landed and checked his fist. “That’s better!”

He practiced a bunch more times, slowly figuring out that Fire Ki worked better when he kept it compressed instead of letting it spread everywhere. His punches got more controlled, with the flames only showing up right when he hit something. Every few attacks his golden aura would flicker, forcing him to stop and steady the transformation before he kept going. Eventually he tried it with his legs, surrounding one foot with Fire Ki and launching a spinning kick into another boulder. The burst of flame sent pieces of rock flying.

“Blazing Kick!” he shouted, laughing as he landed. “I’m getting it!”

Next was Lightning Ki.

Rutaba stood still and held out one hand. “Okay… lightning.” Nothing happened. He frowned. “Lightning.” A tiny spark appeared between his fingers. “YES!” Another spark jumped across his hand, then a few more. He watched, fascinated, as the electricity crawled up his arm. “Whoa…” The current suddenly surged.

“OW!”

He shook his hand hard. “Okay! Lightning hurts!”

His golden aura flared again from the sudden energy. He gritted his teeth and forced himself to calm down. “Easy… Super Saiyan stays on. Don’t let the lightning mess it up.”

He thought for a second, remembering how Zip Zap let him push ki through his body to move faster. Instead of trying to shoot lightning from his hands, he concentrated the electrical energy through his legs. Blue-white sparks started dancing around his feet. “Maybe I can use it to move faster.”

He crouched.

“Zip Zap!”

His body shot forward in a flash, but this time it was way faster than normal. He streaked across the valley and barely stopped himself before smacking into a cliff. He skidded across the ground and stared at how far he’d gone. His golden aura trailed behind him like a comet.

“I got faster!”

He immediately tried again, changing direction halfway through the dash. Lightning crackled behind him as he zipped from one side of the valley to the other. His movements were still messy, but he was starting to get how Lightning Ki worked with his Saiyan speed. Super Saiyan made the technique even faster, but it also made stopping a lot harder.

Rutaba laughed. “I’m calling this Lightning Zip Zap!”

After Lightning came Wind Ki.

He turned toward the trees and watched the leaves moving in the breeze. He stretched out his hand and concentrated. Wind Ki didn’t feel hot or explosive like the others. It felt light and fluid, almost like part of his own movement. A small current formed around his fingers.

“Gale Rush!”

He pushed Wind Ki through his legs.

WHOOSH!

He accelerated so fast his feet left the ground for a second. He flew past the training boulders and crashed into a pile of grass. Slowly he lifted his head. His golden aura was almost gone under all the dust.

“…Okay.”

He pulled himself up and immediately focused on the transformation. The golden aura came back around him, weaker than before but still there.

“That’s REALLY fast.”

This time he used less energy. The result was smoother. Wind wrapped around his body as he moved through the valley, letting him change direction without losing as much speed. He started mixing it into his melee attacks, creating a compressed burst of wind around his fist before punching toward a distant rock. He never actually touched the stone, but the compressed air hit it hard enough to crack the surface.

He stared at the result.

“Gale Fist…”

He smiled.

“That’s cool.”

He followed it with a spinning kick, sending a small vortex across the ground before it faded. “Cyclone Kick!” he shouted. “I can use Wind Ki for attacks AND movement!”

Then he headed toward the waterfall.

Water Ki was next.

He stood under the falling water and closed his eyes, focusing on the feeling of it moving around him. His ki slowly changed, becoming smoother and more fluid. When he opened his hands, a small sphere of blue Water Ki formed between them.

“This feels different.”

He compressed it into a little projectile.

“Water Bullet!”

The sphere shot forward and hit a rock, bursting against it with a strong splash of energy. He nodded. “Not bad.”

He tried a stronger version, pulling more Water Ki into his hands. “Tidal Wave!”

A surge of energy formed in front of him, taking the shape of a rushing wave. His eyes went wide as it grew bigger than he expected. The wave immediately collapsed and soaked him from head to toe.

Rutaba stood there dripping, golden hair hanging wet while his Super Saiyan aura hissed around him.

He stared forward.

Then he laughed.

“Okay! Water needs work!”

Finally he turned to Earth Ki.

He put his hand against a big boulder and concentrated. Earth felt totally different from the other elements. It was heavy, dense, and stable. Instead of flowing around him, it felt like the energy was connecting him straight to the ground under his feet. That steady feeling actually helped keep his transformation stable, and he noticed his golden aura got calmer while he focused on it.

He pulled his fist back.

“Stone Fist!”

He punched.

The boulder cracked straight down the middle.

He stared at it.

“Whoa.”

He tried again, putting even more Earth Ki into his arm. The energy around his fist got dense and heavy.

“Earthbreaker Strike!”

His fist slammed into the rock and shattered it apart.

He looked at the pieces scattered around him.

“I REALLY like Earth.”

By now he’d spent most of the morning practicing each element one at a time. But he wasn’t done. He wanted to see what happened when he mixed them with his martial arts. He also wanted to see if he could keep Super Saiyan going while switching between different kinds of ki.

He went back to the center of the valley and took a fighting stance. His golden aura flickered around him and he steadied it with a slow breath.

“Okay… elemental melee training!”

He surrounded his right fist with Fire Ki and his left with Lightning Ki. Fire and electricity flickered side by side as he rushed forward. He opened with a Firecracker Fist, followed right away by a Lightning-enhanced punch. He spun into a Wind-assisted kick, then reinforced his elbow with Earth Ki. Finally he used Water Ki to redirect his momentum, sliding around his imaginary opponent to attack from a different angle.

He stopped and looked at his hands.

“That was awesome!”

Then the different energies started messing with each other.

The Fire Ki spread too far.

The Lightning surged through it.

Wind disrupted the flames.

Water messed up the Lightning.

His eyes went wide.

“Wait—”

BOOOOOOM!

The combined energy exploded outward.

Rutaba flew backward and landed in a bush. His golden aura flickered hard, and for one scary second his hair started to darken. He immediately clenched his fists and shouted, forcing the transformation back into place.

“No! Stay Super Saiyan!”

The golden aura burst out again and he slowly pulled himself free, hair still smoking a little.

“…Okay.”

He brushed leaves off his shoulders.

“Five elemental energies at once is probably too much.”

He wasn’t disappointed, though. He’d learned something important. Elemental Ki wasn’t just about having different powers. He had to figure out how each energy behaved before he could safely mix them. The same went for Super Saiyan. He couldn’t just rely on the form’s power. He had to learn how to keep it steady while using everything else.

That realization only made him more excited.

“Let’s try two.”

He raised his right hand.

“Fire.”

Flames formed around his fingers.

He raised his left.

“Lightning.”

Electricity crackled around his palm.

He slowly brought the two energies together. His golden aura trembled as the two elements pushed against each other.

For a moment they refused to mix.

Then—

They fused.

The resulting energy burned orange and blue while lightning danced across the surface. The golden glow of Super Saiyan wrapped around it, making it shine even brighter.

His eyes got huge.

“Thunderfire…” He grinned.

“Thunderfire!”

He thrust both hands forward.

The projectile shot across the valley and slammed into a distant rock formation.

KRA-BOOOOOOM!

Fire and lightning erupted at the same time, sending a shockwave through the whole valley. He jumped into the air, golden aura flaring.

“I DID IT!”

He landed and immediately wanted to try something bigger.

“Wind!”

Wind Ki spiraled around him.

“Water!”

Fluid energy joined the current.

“Lightning!”

Electricity started racing through the vortex.

His aura flickered as he struggled to hold everything together. The golden energy around him started shrinking and his breathing got heavier.

“Stay on,” he whispered. “I’m not done yet.”

He forced Super Saiyan to stay active and pushed the combined energy forward.

“Storm Bomba!”

He released the attack.

A swirling projectile of wind, water, and lightning tore through the valley and slammed into the mountainside. The explosion sent debris cascading down the rock face.

He stood there with his mouth open.

“…Okay.”

His grin slowly came back.

“That one is definitely staying.”

But the excitement was catching up to him.

His breathing got heavier.

His arms were shaking.

The elemental energy around his body flickered all over the place.

His golden aura started weakening too, shrinking close to his skin.

He looked down at himself.

“I’m getting tired.”

He knew he’d pushed too far, but there was one more technique he wanted to try. If he could use it while keeping Super Saiyan, he’d know exactly how much further he still had to go.

He spread his arms.

“Elemental Ki Burst!”

He released everything at once.

Fire, Lightning, Wind, Water, and Earth Ki erupted from his body in a huge shockwave. Flames raced across the ground, electricity cracked through the air, compressed wind blasted through the trees, and chunks of stone lifted off the ground before getting thrown outward. His golden aura expanded with the attack, but it immediately started breaking apart at the edges.

He shouted through the strain.

“Stay transformed!”

The explosion finally faded.

Rutaba stood in the middle of the wrecked training area. His golden hair was still sticking up and a faint golden aura still flickered around him, but he was barely holding the form together.

His chest rose and fell fast.

His legs trembled.

Then he collapsed onto his back.

For a few seconds he just stared at the sky.

“…I’m exhausted.”

His golden aura weakened again.

He quickly raised one hand and focused on keeping it going. The aura steadied, though it stayed thin and unstable.

A smile appeared.

“But I learned a bunch of new attacks.”

He raised one fist toward the clouds.

“I’ll get better.”

His eyes sparkled with determination.

“I’ll control all five elements!”

He imagined what it would be like someday to mix his Saiyan power with everything he’d learned — faster movement, stronger punches, huge elemental attacks, and transformations he could keep going without wiping himself out. He knew Super Saiyan was still new. He could transform, but he couldn’t hold it comfortably yet. That’s why he’d decided to keep it active all day. If he could learn to stay transformed while training, eating, sleeping, and fighting, then one day it would feel as natural as breathing.

His grin got wider.

“I’m gonna get so strong…”

He clenched his fist.

“I’m gonna become the strongest Saiyan child EVER!”

His stomach suddenly growled.

He froze.

“…And then I’m gonna eat.”

He jumped to his feet even though he was exhausted and started running toward his shelter. His golden aura wavered as he moved, but he kept it going through pure stubbornness.

“FOOOOOOOD!”

His voice echoed between the mountains.

Behind him the valley was covered in scars from hours of training.

Rutaba hadn’t mastered his elemental ki.

He hadn’t even come close.

He also hadn’t mastered Super Saiyan. His control was still messy, his combinations were unstable, and keeping the form going for a whole day was already draining him dry. He had a long way to go before he could safely use his stronger techniques while staying transformed.

But that didn’t matter.

For Rutaba, every mistake was another lesson.

Every explosion was another experiment.

Every failure was another reason to train harder.

And somewhere inside that chaotic golden aura was the start of something much bigger — a Saiyan learning that his power wasn’t limited to raw strength, and that even a transformation as strong as Super Saiyan had to be trained and controlled.

He had elements to master.

Techniques to develop.

A transformation to keep going.

And a whole future waiting for him.

He looked back at the mountains with a mischievous grin. His golden aura flickered, but he quickly steadied it again.

“Tomorrow…”

He raised his fist.

“I’m gonna make an even bigger explosion!”

Then he turned toward his shelter, still transformed, still exhausted, and still determined to keep Super Saiyan active until the day was over.

The two heroes clad in their costumed uniforms soared through the skies at incredible velocities, their forms zipping across the skyline with such intensity that reverberating ripples of kinetic distribution shook the atmosphere to release shuddering eruptions of gale force shock that echoed out into the horizon from the tremoring reverb of the sound barrier being broken through. The cone of displaced air that dragged behind the two as oxygen particles were dragged behind only to be blasted back by momentum expanding out as they raced toward their destination thundered into a sonic boom while they sped off further and further faster than the air they flew through could move out of their way. Miso quietly awed at how fast the Ring let him get; to be able to fly to the very edge of creation in just a single charge of the battery and still have enough for the trip back was so wondrous and beyond comprehension that he still struggled to comprehend just what he was yet capable of now as a Green Lantern. As bolted through the skies like an emerald comet, he kept pace with the man beside him and glanced through his peripheral vision to study Sparga.

The Saiyan of Steel was composed, cool as ice, and wore a focused expression that didn’t seem like it fit on his often friendly demeanor - it was like he was expecting a fight and didn’t have the time nor energy for jovial behavior. Miso had had the chance now to fight alongside Sparga a few times, but generally he understood that Sparga was used to flying solo and was still getting used to working with a team. And that meant sometimes, the Superman went off on his own to do all the work before anyone else could help him. It might be that he thought he was too good, too powerful to need help. It might just be because he was so used to not having help that it wasn’t yet second nature for him to have backup. It might be both. But he’d watched the Saiyan-Kryptonian hybrid work before and it was… Well, words didn’t do it justice. Superman is the strongest in this Universe, and if word is to be believed? At least four others. That’s a lot to wrap one’s head around, and for as powerful as his ring made him, Miso knew he still had a long way to go before he tapped into the kind of potential the Ring had to close that big of a gap.

For all his analysis, Miso wasn’t too far off; Sparga was determined and focused. He wouldn’t admit this to the rookie Lantern, but he hated that his instincts always jumped toward having to prepare for a fight whenever another random ship breached the planet’s atmosphere. But in his experience, that’s all it ever was. People only ever wanted a fight. Usually to fight him because they had something to prove. And it was a tiresome experience, expecting that kind of hostility and vindication-seeking ambition. Just once, he’d like for people to actually come to this planet with good intentions. But then again, would people with good intentions make their presence known so ostentatiously, loudly, and dramatically? There was always something slow and deliberate about when a ship arrived toward Earth with its passengers clamoring for combat - a crawl that almost said “Look at me, everyone! I’m here to get everyone to notice me so I can pick a fight!” that this ship was also engaged in.

Sparga’s fist clenched and his shoulders tensed at the notion, as his features furled into a well-worn and practiced frown. He had spent a lot of time practicing being friendlier and smiling more, but the world around him seemed intent on keeping that grumpy expression on his face no matter how tired he was of wearing it. Just one easy day, one day where being Superman actually meant saving kittens out of trees and not having to pummel some overjumped punch-jockey who thinks they’re a threat. Why was that so much to ask?

As the two soared through the skyline, they found the ship well past orbiting the planet and the hull caught flame as it pushed past the Mesosphere at high speed, heating up from the friction when it slammed into gas molecules and burning like a meteor as it began its descent. As it came down, the ship caught flame from the momentum of creating static vibrations against particles that weren’t in its path only moments ago. But the introduction of atmospheric composition meant that now, matter would come into violent contact with matter and the friction that occurred would cause sudden and tumultuous conflict. The hull’s temperature shot up rapidly and then practically shrugged off the intense heat and ignition of flames and sparks that swelled and surged before the vessel breached even further into the Stratosphere and even further into the Troposphere to hover just 8 miles above Coast City.

FriezaSpaceshipNearVegeta.webp

With the ship now in sight, the two heroes ceased their momentum as it held its post where it maintained altitude ominously. A few citygoers down below could see the ship looming overhead and craned their necks to catch sight of what was going on, but at this distance, they couldn’t make out details beyond knowing some sort of ship was hovering up above.

Miso frowned and clenched his fist, letting his Ring flicker to life and preparing it for whatever might be necessary. Meanwhile, Sparga kept his focus sharp and his reflexes primed and reactive. His senses attuned themselves to his surroundings and his brow knit into a tight furrow as he did.

Sparga: “I sense several high power levels on that ship. And… one more approaching. And it’s not Braiselle.”

Miso quirked a brow at his comrade’s words, his expression twisting into one of mild interest and curiosity before;

Miso: “You really gotta teach me that trick one day.”

Sparga: “Maybe when we wrap this up, we can talk about it. But keep your eyes sharp. It’s show time.”

The hydraulics of the ship’s hatch began to hiss and steam escaped, compression releasing as the atmospheric adjustment internalized inside the vessel began to open, and with the bay doors rolling out, a single figure revealed himself; Tall, clad in old armor that had seen several battles and a tattered and torn scarlet cape. His tail coiled around his waistline as the Scouter he wore caught light and reflected a beam of bright rays. He regarded the two flying just across from his ship’s bay dock. One arm was gauntleted with a heavy device that had a barrel extending forward but that arm was hung loose at his side and relaxed. The Saiyan didn’t step off of his ship’s hatch, but spoke out to them with acknowledgment.

7 Beyga☻♦.png

Beyga: “I had anticipated the half-breed Superman. But I wasn’t aware that the Green Lantern Corps operated on this planet as well.”

Sparga: “So you know about us. That makes this easy. You’re a Saiyan, right? What are you here on Earth for? If you need assistance, we can help.”

Beyga: “No. Not from you, half-breed. The only way you can help our kind is by dying.”

And with slow, methodical precision, the Saiyan raised his right arm and leveled the barrel of the device toward Sparga, and pressed a button on the handle to bring the machine to whir to life and a glow of bright green flared before an emerald hued beam blasted toward the Saiyan-Kryptonian hybrid.

After a few more moments of flying through the skies, he could visibly see a large ship in the distance which ultimately caught his attention since that exactly where he was sensing the power source from. Not only that, but there were also 2 others already there as well, someone dressed in green and another dressed in black, blue, & red; He didn't need to make an actual introduction to tell that he was a Saiyan, as he could clearly see his tail. Lotren slowed his stride and began his descent from the air until he floated around the same distance as the ship's top was from the ground itself. He didn't make an exaggerated introduction, in fact, Lotren didn't bother introducing himself at all, but he stared down the one who exited the ship with judgmental eyes. He'd occasionally switch his gaze to whoever was speaking, simply listening in on the conversation until something interested caught his attention.

Lotren (Mind): Superman? Green Lantern Corp.? So the one in blue & red must be famous here, and I'm assuming the green lantern business must be similar to Capsule Corp. back home. And judging by the way that other Saiyan is speaking to him, they're clearly enemies. Things just got a lot more interesting.

He watched as whatever the device was this guy had in his hand controlled some kind of machine, the young warrior may not have known much about what was going on but then again, he was a find out in the moment kind of guy. Lotren came in this direction for a reason so he planned on enjoying it. As such, he pointed his palm in the direction of the 3 of them; The moment the machine shot out a blast towards this superman saiyan, Lotren shot his own energy blast and collided with the blast meant for the superman. The collision of course will have force both blasts to explode, kick up an abundance of dust and debris, as well as causing a powerful shockwave to scatter across the area a few hundred feet. Once the smoke cleared, Lotren will have been in the same position staring down the one with the remote, with a slight amusing smile on his face; Knowing exactly what he was doing.

Lotren: Oops. My hand slipped.

Rutaba was still half jogging toward his makeshift shelter made out of rocks and logs his golden hair bouncing with every step, when this weird feeling hit him.

It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t even a real noise. Just a real sudden thick pressure that rested in the middle of his chest and made the air feel super heavy. Rutaba wondered to himself “What is this that I’m sensing, it’s HUGE!” Rutaba then flew in the sky over the mountaintop and saw a giant ship hovering over a city and said “Wow that’s a giant ship it looks like a giant frisbee from where I am.

Rutaba focused his energy and powered down, returning back to his normal state and said “I’m getting excited!!!” He clenched his fists tight and said “I’m still a little exhausted from staying Super Saiyan and using my new techniques I made.” They’re pretty awesome, but they use a butt load of power and I have to concentrate and focus like a boring old man. Rutaba said “Enough talking about that, it’s time for action.” Rutaba thought about what he should do in a situation like this because he had no idea what he was up against or what is to come when he arrived.

Rutaba still in the sky above the mountaintop, decided to fly to Coast City and confront the people who had the big power levels and to make sure no innocent lives were at stake. Rutaba said “Coast City here I come!!!” Rutaba shot threw the sky like a firework, his red, blue, and orange aura crackling as he flew toward the city. Rutaba was getting closer to the city he saw civilians looking up at the ship. Rutaba saw a bunch of people and saw debris flying around and said wow someone just launched an energy beam. Rutaba said Whoever that was weren’t ordinary humans they were warriors from space.

Rutaba said if they’re from outer space maybe they’re bad guys trying to take over the Earth and then the whole universe. Rutaba clenched his fists tight and said to himself “ I can’t let whoever these warriors are destroy the Earth I live here and so many people and animals do.”

Rutaba flew faster in the sky until he was close enough to make out who was there. Rutaba stared and saw a man in green, a man that looked like Superman, and another man who Rutaba felt like they’re similar. Rutaba stayed back for a bit and thought to himself “ What’s going on here and what’s about to happen?

Rutaba wasn’t going to stand there and find out so he shouted “ WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE AND WHO ARE YOU GUYS!!” Rutaba clenched his fists and said I hope you guys aren’t trying to hurt innocent people or animals. If so I’ll have to stop you. My name is Rutaba and I’m a protector of Earth.

Rutaba stared at everyone waiting for what was going to happen next and he got into a fighting stance ready to unleash his power if he had to.

Sparga watched the beam race toward him, his posture confident and unsuspecting as he kept his chest held out with a level of assurance in his posture that bordered on overwhelming in his belief to withstand quite literally anything. His abilities and reputation as Superman were not unwarranted, but that comfort and security in his capabilities was dangerous. He heeded no warnings and never faltered in his disposition, holding his ground with a level of assurance that bordered on absolute, waiting patiently for the blast to hit him fruitlessly as so many others in the past did. Sparga was indeed famous, and one didn’t get his level of recognition without having proven the skills to get to that level of notoriety on repeated occasion. But that was exactly what Beyga was counting on. Unfortunately for the invader, the uninvited guest just above them discharged a blast of his own that thwarted the Saiyan Captain’s lethal shot. The scowl Beyga wore could kill as he glanced up to see Lotren give his playful and nonchalant commentary, teasing him.

When the two blasts collided, the smoke and explosion rippled out with waves of kinetic distribution and Sparga felt the winds buffeting him, carrying the dust and debris - and all of its contents from both attackers’ blasts. There was something about that blaster that felt strange and as the residue of the attack scattered and dispersed out, washing over the Saiyan of Steel, Sparga braced himself against the winds and covered his face with his forearm to shield his vision from the bulk of the heavy explosion winds. His features twisted into a soft grimace as his brow knit as a strange sensation of discomfort, one familiar but not yet one he could place, washed over him.

Sparga: “Mmm… “

Miso: “... You alright there, Blue? You’re looking a little green.”

Sparga ignored the joke and shrugged his shoulder as the winds cleared, glancing up at the new Saiyan just above them who had intercepted the attack. The timing was convenient, and Sparga was sure that this was by design. That Saiyan up above didn’t look like he was part of the Ship’s crew.

The wrist-mounted blaster Beyga wore dimmed slightly as its power cells depleted - No longer enough left in its battery for a single, focused kill shot. But enough to cause massive pain and weakness in its sole intended target. Enough destabilization for any of his soldiers to finish the job. But that wasn’t the issue - The issue was the act itself.

Beyga: “Hrrgh! You fool! You’d betray your own kind for the abomination!?”
Suddenly, another voice cut in to announce themselves as Rutaba entered the fray. Sparga saw the child and just sighed in disbelief as his shoulders slumped. This was the last thing they needed.

Miso: “Hey, it’s that kid from before.”

Sparga: “Lantern, please get that kid out of here.”

Miso: “Hey, I was on babysitting duty last time. You do it. I’ll handle Captain Underpants over there.”

Sparga frowned at Miso, his brow still knit into a tight furrow. Was this really the time to argue semantics over such a thing? Preferring to not waste time debating it, Sparga resigned himself to the task and let his levitation glide back to give Miso the proverbial floor as he held his hands up in a gesture of acceptance, waving the task to him as he desired while the Superman began to glide over toward Rutaba to get his attention.

Beyga’s scowl was evident as his expression twisted into one of barely chained outrage while keeping his attention fixed on Sparga and Lotren. The child was of no mind, but a Saiyan child who was still young enough to be properly guided could be of use once the rabble was eliminated. For now though, he had more important matters to attend to.

Beyga: “I’ll offer this one chance to correct your mistake and join your Proud Race, Saiyan. Kill the abomination with me and take your place among your people. Or die with the rest of the pollutants who degrade our blood.”

Beyga had only to give the order and his squad would attack. But he would feel much more confident with another True Saiyan among his ranks.

Lotren had very little care in regard to anything the now angry saiyan was talking about. And while he heard what he was saying, his interest was more in the kid who showed up, something about the little guy reminded him of his younger brother in a way back when they were actual children. But he needed to learn how to even properly fight and make full use of his powers before running his mouth, Lotren didn't know the kid and he may have been speaking out of term, but regardless, he was interested in seeing rather or not the kid was going to prove him right or wrong. But first, he was going to address the "big boss" who was so angry.

Lotren: You're no kind of mine. As far as i'm concerned every member of MY proud saiyan race is already dead. The only thing I see before me now is a child, an abomination as you call him, and another kid throwing a tantrum.

Now returning the same Scowl towards Beyga but with a bit more intensity, now having his arms to his sides and his hands in his pockets and showing absolutely no fear whatsoever. Lotren landed on the ground and began walking slowly straight towards the saiyan.

Lotren: You invaded this planet with im assuming is a ship full of other saiyans, for one person? And you're still asking for help to kill him.. this new line of saiyans of yours are nothing but jokes, including you. You want a Royal bloodline to stand with you then take care of him yourself. Consider this your interview, I'm not about to drag my grandfathers name through the mud for a bunch of saiyans that can't take of one half-breed on their own. Atleast try to have some pride.

With that, Lotren's gaze become more of a deathstare than a simple scowl. The energy around him fluctuated to a feeling that can be compared to the LSSJ but still holding a more malevolent feeling.

And i'd suggest taking back that threat of yours, you've never seen a saiyan like me and i promise you i'm the last person you want to make an enemy of. Unlike the one over there in blue, i'm no hero. I'll take this entire crew of yours and make you kneel, and if you even look at me wrong, i'll kill you. - That's the only warning you get. So whats you're move. saiyan. You either show me the kind of saiyan you are and take him out on your own, or you focus your attention on me and die right now.

1789416603313.png

Rutaba floated there with his fists still clenched, listening to everything.

First, this armored guy started yapping about pure blood and abominations. Then, this other Saiyan who had blocked the blast and then called him another kid throwing a tantrum.

Rutaba’s right eye twitched violently and then stopped. Rutaba was already on edge, and the situation was already getting tense. Then, Rutaba said, “Hey! I’m not just some kid, and I’m not throwing a tantrum!!!” Rutaba said, “ Just because I’m 8 years old doesn’t mean I’m weak, and don’t get it twisted, I’m just as powerful as you, maybe even more.”

Rutaba also heard the guy in green say it’s that kid from before, and Rutaba said, “Yup, that’s me. I’m that kid from before, but I’m WAY stronger than I was before, and I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve.

As far as that babysitting comment goes, I don’t need a babysitter, and if you say that again or underestimate me, that’s a mistake I wouldn’t make.”

Rutaba looked around at everyone, mainly at the Saiyan in armor talking about ‘True Saiyan’ and abominations or whatever that word meant. I don’t know what the heck you are talking about, but if any innocent lives are threatened or harmed in any way, I will not let you do that.

Rutaba said, “ I already said my name is RUTABA!!!” I’m a Saiyan too, and I’ve never seen other Saiyans before. Rutaba kept his eyes moving between everyone, waiting to see who was going to make a move. Rutaba got into his serious fighting stance and was ready to start throwing hands and flying kicks someone’s way or a little taste of his new techniques he’s been working on.

Rutaba smiled, and he was confident that he could defend himself from any situation, no matter how hard or tough it got because the word impossible didn’t mean anything to him. Rutaba was still a little tired from being transformed into a Super Saiyan and using his elemental ki, but that didn’t stop him from having that defiant grin on his face.

Rutaba thought to himself “ I’m not going to let all the adults have all the fun I’m just as STRONG!!!”

1789184536947.png

Since the battle with the Justice League and her new companion, Rutaba, plus surviving a Kamehameha that nearly hit her but sent her spiralling into the earth at full force, giving the impression that she was defeated, but really, she was spent and required recovery from this battle she happily enjoyed. Waiting for them all to leave the immediate area was not easy, since that man with the terrible green and black full-body leotard, the woman with those long animal ears, and Man of Steel himself were out scouting the area looking for her, determined to find her, but she was
1789446542420.png
not planning on getting captured and kept in a cell where they could interrogate her for days on end, so with some careful strategic moves and stealthy maneuvering around the terrain, she managed to place thirty ki orbs around for them and take off as soon they were triggered, giving her cover to flee towards her ship located beneath the ocean near Parsley City.
Mokaryū managed to make it to her ship but saw some Atlateans there trying to break into it, but she quickly dispatched them and left them sinking into the depths of the ocean where their corpse would not be found, flying into the ship where the AI operating the ship greeted her, analyzed, and recommended she rest, something she was planning on doing anyway, discarding the cloak she managed to retrieve and heading towards the Medical Machine, where she sat inside with careful ease and let it begin the process of a long-needed recovery.

Two Weeks Later - Earth
Mokaryū has been lying low within Parsley City, enjoying the food humanity has created and cultivated from their lands, which is the complete opposite of her planet, a gas giant that is covered mostly by ocean with numerous islands scattered across the planet's surface, while this planet has more land than ocean, something she is still getting used to living on for a Caffaian who enjoys water more. She was mostly feasting on a tray of grilled fish she ordered from a seafood restaurant, her appetite being insatiable on a world with less gravity. Her body is still adjusting and learning how to move without tearing through buildings with how fast she flies; she once crashed into a water tower and skipped across a few buildings like a rock before dusting herself off and trying again and again. She would sense familiar Ki signatures heading up into space, but one she had never felt before; this one felt cold, like a dead star after burning up the last of its gas before succumbing to entropy. She got up, paid the waiter with a few dollars she'd scrounged, and stepped out of the restaurant, then took off to follow the others heading up into space.
Using spatial shrink to minimize herself to the size of a small rock, merely there to observe the interaction between the heroes, her favorite little saiyan and another unknown saiyan with a ship behind him. Whatever was going on, things seemed to heat up, with each person's expression and body language looking hostile and vibrating with Ki ready to be unleashed, but seeing that older saiyan fire a green blast at the Man of Steel, that dark-skinned man fired a Ki of his own to clash with the green blast, causing an explosion between them, which made her lean forward in anticipation as both sides were ready to brawl. However, her hunger for battle began to ache, but she decided to wait and see what would happen next before jumping in.

Sparga made his approach toward Rutaba, gliding through the air with comfortable ease as the earlier strange nausea that triggered when the reverb of the opposing blasts detonated just in front of him. With no cause for concern yet causing alarms to blare in his perception, he continued on his intended path toward the young child, waving amiably. His smile was friendly, sincere, and his features soft as he spoke. He knew Rutaba wanted to be taken seriously as a warrior, and he’d respect that, but Sparga still had concerns that could only come from someone of his position. Concerns that he would voice and attempt to convey to the best of his abilities to help this headstrong and willful young Saiyan understand. He knew he probably wouldn’t, Saiyans rarely understood complex concepts like protecting their young or having a conversation, but he still had to try and do something to keep this brave kid from getting in over his head.

Sparga: “Hey, big man. Remember me? Listen, I know you wanna prove you’re strong. But some fights aren’t just about having fun. And I think this is about to be one of those. This is serious, okay? I don’t think this guy is here to make friends.”

As the Superman spoke to Rutaba, he did his best to show the child the respect he so blatantly wanted but also wanted to express the gravity of the situation around them. Something told the Saiyan of Steel that this wasn’t a typical invasion of interstellar pirates with something to prove. This was heavy. They were too serious. And it had been a long time since another Saiyan referred to him with such potent disdain and animosity. But what struck out to him the most? Why would a Saiyan warrior wear a wrist-mounted blaster? It didn’t make sense to him. No self-respecting Saiyan conqueror would use an external weapon. As he kept his conversation with Rutaba, he kept his senses sharp in case he might need to move suddenly to protect himself or the child. And as his senses heightened in the wide cast net, he caught notice of a familiar energy signature. He knew that she didn’t leave the planet… But where was she specifically? If he started making a physical effort to look for her, he’d give himself away so for now Sparga would need to keep his attention on three separate things; Keeping Rutaba occupied to get him out of the fight, keeping vigilant for Beyga’s schemes, and keeping his senses sharp to locate Mokaryu. He had a lot on his plate and would have to find a window to make this easier on himself…

Meanwhile, Beyga stayed occupied with Lotren as the younger Saiyan taunted him so proudly. He had to admit, his every word oozed the confidence and pride of a true Saiyan. But some of what was said stood out as marks against his worthiness to join their righteous crusade. Particularly the mention that he believed himself to be royalty. Such an offense to his King would not go unpunished. And as Lotren spoke, Beyga continued putting the pieces together.

Beyga: “I see. So you’re from one of the degenerate traitor tribes then? It makes sense.”

Reaching up to slide the wrist-mounted blaster off of his forearm and slipping it into place to hook it against his belt to save it for when an opportunity might present itself. But the abomination would get his due. For now, Beyga would prefer to focus on the offensive whelp who deigned to believe himself worthy of the throne.

Beyga: “I don’t suppose you have any idea of the reality of your situation then? Let me educate you. Some time ago, our scouts returned with word that several other planets full of Saiyan civilizations had revealed themselves, foreign to our own. Sounds ludicrous, right? We Saiyans are numerous, but to have enough of us to occupy several other planets without knowing about it is simply a statistical impossibility.”

Beyga ensured the weapon was secured behind his back to keep it safe for when he would need it. And then he cracked his neck to the left and then the right before rolling his head in a circle to ease some of the discomfort and tension accumulated in the joints from the long ride over to Earth as he continued speaking.

Beyga: “And that’s when we realized what it was. Our world, and several others from parallel dimensions had all been transported to this universe. Several Saiyan homeworlds all pulled from their worlds were thrust here. We don’t know how, and we don’t know why, but we knew one thing; Only one could lead the Saiyan race. And that’s when my King, our great leader Broloc, gave the order. And so began our crusade.”

It was a simple enough explanation, and one that was sure to get the point across. From the distance, Sparga’s heightened senses and super hearing could hear the words and he furrowed his brow in concern; This must have been part of the result of the wish he and his allies made on the Super Dragon Balls to stop the Qliphoth… An unwanted consequence that was coming back to bite him when he least expected it. Other than a furrowed brow and a sideways glance out of his peripheral vision, the Saiyan of Steel made no further inclinations that he was listening in. Miso, meanwhile, hovered between Beyga and Lotren with his fist clenched and his ring pulsing softly with glowing green light.

Miso: “Listen, pal. This planet’s Green Lantern territory. You wanna pick a fight, you gotta go through me first.”

Beyga: “I don’t speak to lesser races. But if you get in my way, know that you won’t be the first Green Lantern I’ve killed, Corpsman. And as for you, so-called royal. If you impress me, perhaps I’ll tell you the rest. If you live long enough.”

And then he waved his hand and from the ship’s bay doors opening up above, another six Saiyans all sprung free to attack, charging Lotren with wild and feral abandon. Their powers thrummed and radiated with explosive force as they let the power within them ignite to roil in the form of fiery auras. They moved swiftly, closing in on the warrior with enough ferocity in their momentum to break the sound barrier each as a bulky Saiyan bruiser whose size did little to impede his speed swung his leg in a surprisingly agile hook kick aimed for the proud Lotren’s collarbone with enough force to pulverize an entire continent into fine powder. Meanwhile, the others closed in to try and close off any chance of dodging as all of them cheered.

Lotren heard everything Beyga had to say, which made him think about how he got to this new dimension to begin with, it seemed very familiar to his own situation, only this had been the 2nd time it happened to Lotren in the span of a year which to him, started to get annoying. Though, that thought process stopped once the green person stood between them, and hearing Beyga's response made crack a genuine smile for the first time since he's been there. He started to sound & look more like a saiyan once that device got put up, but judging by the last thing he said meant there was going to be a fight. His guess had been proven right soon as he saw the six others exit the ship and began charging him, the only reaction this got from Lotren was exaggerated sigh and an eye roll and allowed his own special aura void ember aura to surround his body.

Lotren: Great, more idiots..

He remained calm with his hands in his pockets, still staring down Beyga; He saw the bulky saiyan flying right towards him with an attack of his own which only made Lotren chuckle in amusement. As the kick arc reached close to Lotren, his body vanished completely just to reappear in the same spot as the attack passed with his arm already in motion for a devastating closeline which will have caught his lifted leg at the knee, and the rest of his torso from the angle of the 2 fighters. The actual force itself is about equal to what the saiyan tried to hit him with, but the speed is what made the attack much stronger and was honestly probably a little unnecessary, Lotren is considered to be amongst the fastest beings in the universe, easily surpassing the speed of light at his normal speed. That speed added on on top of his physical raw might will have completely severed the muscles in his legs, pulverized the bones in his legs, and shattered the bones in the ribcage of this saiyan who attacked him. Added, he covered his entire body with his special void ember effect, so not only will this saiyan's body be severly damaged; He'd also be marked with an ember and feel the slight negative effects on his body if he survived the impact.

Lotren: So, your situation is like mine then. Only this will have been the 2nd time this has happened on my end. The first time was because of some idiot supreme kai that wanted to kill the new omni queen after she killed Zeno. Dragged me from my own timeline, now this is the 2nd, with any luck, maybe my grandfather, King Turles is here too.

All this being said during the entire confrontation and "battle" with the bulky saiyan. Though should all of that go according to plan, the enemy saiyan will have been sent right into the ground and buried deep beneath any rubble in a 100 foot whole with the shape of his folded body.

Lotren: Hey, your big guy seems to be out already. You might want to do something about that. - As for the other 5, you just gonna cheer or attack me? You MIGHT have been able to force me to actually try if you attacked me at the same time. - I hope you have better subordinates than this "oh supreme leader."

Rutaba still floated there with his fists still clenched, listening to everything at once..

Then this Superman guy flew over toward Rutaba with this calm, friendly look, and was already telling him how this fight was serious and not just for fun. At the same time, the armored Saiyan was yapping about different worlds and a king. Then he saw six more Saiyans jump out of the ship and charged at that Saiyan that Rutaba called purple guy because he didn’t know his name.

Rutaba’s eyes got big.

“Wow…”

Rutaba barely had time to understand what was going on before the Superman guy was trying to talk him down again. Rutaba listened to what the Superman guy wanted him to understand. He wanted Rutaba to understand the danger he was getting himself into.

Rutaba’s right eye twitched again and said yeah I remember you Superman even though I don’t know your real name, and yeah I know that this is serious and not fun. I can feel it in my heart.

Rutaba pointed his finger past the Superman-Saiyan and watched a fight unfold in front of him and said There’s six of them and the purple guy is fighting.

Rutaba’s tail lashed violently behind him.

“ I didn’t fly all this way from the mountains just to get told to not join in on the fight. I’m not some kid you have to babysit every time something or someone really powerful shows up I love a good challenge.”

Rutaba floated higher a little bit more so he could see everything better. The big Saiyan that Rutaba called purple guy had already sent one of the six bigger Saiyans to the ground. Rutaba’s heart was beating fast but it wasn’t from fear.

Rutaba clenched his fists tighter and said “I can help I’ve been training a lot and I’m WAY stronger than I was last time we met. So don’t ask me to leave. Not this time.

Rutaba got into a fighting stance midair again, eyes locked on the group of Saiyans still coming in.

Rutaba felt his energy slowly returning and said to himself, “ I’m going to prove that I may be just a kid, but I’m no ordinary kid. I’m a SAIYAN KID!!!

Watching the dark-skinned Saiyan dispatch one large soldier before them, Mokaryū decided to fly closer to hear what is being said but instead of hovering above them, she opted to sit right on Sparga's shoulder with a comfortable casualness, fully aware that this man can sense her but isn't aware of he can't predict where she is, however, she knows he can sense her right on him, feel her sitting on him as a small Caffaian warrior "Well, hello there friend" she says with a laid back tone "I see you and the others are doing well, especially the kid, Rutaba" she says then flicks her attention towards the kid and take notice in his prowess and power level having risen since she last seen him and her own has risen significantly from battling everyone in the Justice League "Your world has some strange creatures and animals i never seen from my world cause its mostly

ocean and scattered islands where most of my kind lives
" she says to the half-breed saiyan while keeping an eye on Rutaba "But since coming out here, i've realized that great potential exists beyond my world, potential like you and Ruataba, even that dark-skinned saiyan seems to possess something as well" she then looks back at Sparga "Have you sensed it as well?" she asks before turning back towards the battle going on in front of them with an amused smirk.
Shifting comfortably on his shoulder, "Can I ask another question?" she asks, but proceeds to ask anyway, not even bothering to wait for an answer. "Who are these thugs? They seem to have bad intentions, outta kill them all and spare yourselves the headache of dealing with enemies who wish to bring their wrath upon this planet," she says, nudging his neck gently. She suggests, then looks up at him with that smile on her face. "It is what needs to be done to protect every human, sacrificing the few of your kind to save billions of lives you sworn to protect," she says with an amount of calmness to her, since she had to do it once before, having killed a Namekian who wanted to claim the Namekian Dragon Balls months ago. Fueled by greed and power, he went to kidnap the Grand Elder's son, Tooba, and force the boy to speak the tongue and summon the dragon, but she decapitated him before that could happen.

To better facilitate the events playing out in proper understanding, it is easier to address them as both scenes playing out simultaneously; While Sparga speaks with Rutaba, Beyga speaks with Lotren - two separate conversations happening within the same frame of time. This crucial detail will be poignant later when further action occurs.

While the Superman spoke with the willful young Saiyan child, he could sense the frustration and see the visible eye twitch the boy had. He knew the kid didn’t want to be underestimated, and why would he want to see things from a grown-up’s perspective? He understood what it was like to be a kid who knew they were stronger than most other kids. And he remembered how important it felt to feel useful. But this wasn’t just about wanting to prove one’s strength as far as Sparga was concerned. This was about making sure no one got hurt. And Rutaba might be strong for his age, but he had no idea what these new Saiyans were capable of - or what their intentions were.

But before Sparga could press further, a heart beat stopped drumming in his senses and his blood chilled.

He whipped around quickly to turn and catch the sight of blood and viscera splattering out when the bulky Saiyan’s arcing kick made impact. When Lotren blinked out and then back into sight to deliver his clothesline and slam into the bruiser with such force multiplied by the speed that the inertia magnified the kinetic distribution of force that not only did the leg and rib bones shatter, but the far greater fighter enacted such a powerful display of momentum that between the two, the denser object would withstand the forces of momentum and velocity that enhanced kinetic impact. The result of which would result in the much larger Saiyan finding himself overwhelmed by the speed of his opponent when their bodies collided and the less dense of the two would naturally scatter like glass hitting brick. Lotren’s body would likely be soaked with gore and blood from the occurrence as the remains of the warrior fell like meteors to slam into the ground and splatter further.

The other Saiyans paused in their cheering while Beyga quirked his brow with a grin of mild interest. But Sparga had a much different reaction.

Sparga: “No!!!”

The Saiyan of Steel’s voice thundered with a reverberating boom that carried far louder than an echo - the bass of his shout sundered the clouds as the strength of his lungs erupted into such a furious outroar that the winds blasted back like a shockwave and clouds parted from the sheer force of such a thunderous cry at what he just bore witness to. The decibel range at which he just hit produced such heightened pressure that sound shifted from vibrations in the air into something much more dangerous as the compression of air pushed forward by the resonance of his voice caused oxygen particles to be thrust forward so fast that the shockwave which shuddered out raced through the air so fast that the friction actually superheated the air.

And then movement occurred. Faster than fast. Faster than sense or reason could convey.

Before Mokaryu could get even a fragment of her speech out, he already moved. But his speed was so swift that sensory perception wouldn’t register that he was no longer supporting her weight until he had already travelled to his destination. His speed was faster than light in ways that made light seem slow, creating the sensation for her that he might not have even moved until he was already gone and relocated at his destination. He didn’t hear a word she said, not with his thundering roar drowning her out. Even if it didn’t, he wouldn’t be there to hear her anymore.

His speed blitzed him forward, projecting him into a velocity so immense that light failed to keep pace, still refracting off of where he previously was. As light rays which bounced off of objects and reflected color were still hitting where he previously was but hadn’t yet caught up to his relocation, Sparga’s body slammed through the distance at such staggering speeds that for those with the ability to sense and perceive energy, a curious phenomena would trigger. Sparga’s body moved so fast that the perception of his energy and Ki where he previously hovered was still present, and then a half dozen more signatures along the path he travelled through, and then another where he halted between Lotren and Beyga with another resounding thundercrack of force to herald his intrusion. Each and every scouter that the Saiyan squadron wore began blipping and beeping loudly as their readings went haywire.

Saiyan Brawler: “Wha? When did he get here?!”

Saiyan Thug: “Is anyone else’s scouter freakin’ out? It’s like there’s ten of him now!”

Saiyan Creep: “No way… Nobody’s that fast… Not even Captain Beyga. This guy’s a freak!”

Sparga: “Enough!! This ends now. No one else is dying. No one else is getting hurt. Not a single soul. Understood!?”

Beyga was pale at the sight of such a display of speed - Saiyans who moved faster than light weren’t uncommon but to see one move so fast that it looked - and felt - like he was in several places at once was unheard of. This wasn’t an afterimage technique, it was something else, something that broke all laws of physics so beyond repair that it beggared belief. This was proof the hybrid before him was unnatural, a spit in the face of all laws of nature that needed exterminating. Even after several seconds, the blur of movement that lingered where the Saiyan Kryptonian’s body travelled along still held remnants of such strong signatures of his Ki that didn’t yet fade. Beyga took a step back and reached for the blaster on his belt, but kept his wits sharp in case the monster moved to lunge at him.

Miso meanwhile grinned and sighed playfully in mock-annoyance. These guys really had no idea whose door they just knocked on. It was obvious that Sparga didn’t have any intention on allowing any further bloodshed. His energy flared quietly with a gentle flex of his shoulders, causing the sensory perception of his presence to spike dramatically as the lingering remnants of his power from his travel path dispersed against the sudden surge of his Ki. His aura didn’t manifest into visual perception but it was apparent that his strength was making itself known in such a heavy jump to mark as a warning that he wouldn’t tolerate unnecessary and senseless violence. The Superman was standing tall and strong as he let his words hang in the air.

Miso: “You guys really oughtta listen. Big Blue can be a real monster if he needs to be. And speakin’ of monsters…”

Green Lantern.png

The Green Lantern clenched his right hand into a firm fist, and his ring flared with a gentle glow. And suddenly behind Beyga’s ship loomed a massive shadow as a colossal wingspan spread out. Willpower poured into the ring to turn thought into reality and ambient energy in the air pooled when the Ring-bearer’s conscious efforts and desires forced imagination to break through into reality. Light twisted and hardened into breathing scales as the large beast spread its wings upon birthing into existence from nothing, and then the dragon lifted its head up to roar fiercely as it clambered up and over the Saiyan forces’ ship like it were a toy. Once again the air vibrated from the massive draconic construct roaring with such size and bass that the clouds parted around the group. Miso’s will poured through and out the ring with such intensity that the light pouring out from the emerald band adorning his hand forged the specter above them all, a gargantuan dragon with a wingspan easily breaching eighty feet in length. The roaring dragon snarled and huffed when it cast its gaze back down at the crowd, its claw landing on the ship to rest comfortably as reptilian green eyes narrowed with a wordless threat.

export202609160101220278.png

Sparga held his place between the crowd as the hard light dragon blocked the sun out up above with his wide wings, centering himself for all in case he needed to move suddenly. His senses sharp and alert in case any of this group decided to make a reckless decision, he honed Mind and Body as One in preparation for the battle to continue heedless of his warning. The volume of his Ki was deep, deep, boundlessly deep and stirring from its dormancy that he often held in restraint to keep his power in check. But if he needed to use his full strength to keep anyone from harming others here, then he’d have to. To the Superman, all life was sacred and precious and he wouldn’t make the mistake his predecessor did of losing sight of that valuable creed. So if he had to flare his shoulders out and make it apparent that his was a strength and a power so vast that entire worlds shuddered to express how fruitless fighting him would be? Then he’d do so. But if he could, he’d end this without anyone getting hurt. Mind and Body as One with his senses sharp and his reflexes primed to act, he waited patiently to see if they respected his message.

Lotren had proven the point he intended, at least to the subordinates of Beyga, he didn't complain about the outcome but he was hoping the fight lasted a little longer with how much the leader was gassing up his army. Regardless, the display made the others stop their cheering which he took as them realizing who their superior was. Though his as he was about to turn his attention back to Beyga, a loud and powerful voice echoed though the entire area which caused Lotren to look towards the source. The shockwave caused the young saiyan to squint his eyes due to all the dust and debris that kicked up with it. Next came the speed of Sparga, the saiyan in blue put on an incredible display; However, for Lotren it wasn't anything he hadn't seen before. In fact, the display put on was around the same as his and his father's, but it was still impressive nonetheless and Lotren could keep up with his movements without an issue. One thing did catch his eye though which confused the younger warrior; Beyga had suddenly went from talking like he was a big dog to backing away in fear, that alone made Lotren let out a short chuckle from the disbelief. Listening to the different reactions only made things even better.

Lotren: Waiit-- You guys can't do that? You're scared too?! Ahaha oh this is great! - You had the nerve to talk crazy like you could actually do something and you're scared of his speed?! Damn, that's disappointing, I was at least hoping you'd run the fade with him. Guess not.
Lotren to Sparga: Holdon, what do you mean? You DO realize they just tried to kill you, right? You should be the last one trying to make peace right now, this isn't going to stop them. I hope you know that.

Moving on, Lotren had little care about what was going on and calmly walked directly past Sparga, headed straight towards Beyga. The look in his eye was more serious this time as he reached for the very remote the guy used to shoot the blast the first time. His plan was to simply crush the controller and eliminate another pathetic display of power again. The entire idea of a saiyan using a special machine to kill someone instead of their own strength annoyed him, but this Beyga was clearly among the lower ranking warriors of this dimensions saiyans which explained the way his attitude changed. The next thing he noticed was Miso playing around with the ring on his finger which caused a strange glow behind Beyga, once Lotren actually looked up he'd see a large green dragon sitting on top of the ship. Lotren smirked at it then returned his attention back to Beyga.

Lotren: Now back to you, have you ever heard of a Saiyan named Turles? And 2nd, is this "King" of yours as weak as you, or can i compare to the one you were just trying to kill.

With another slick movement, he'd position himself on the side of Beyga and go to through an arm around his shoulder. Overtime that simple gesture would slowly turn into a hard "friendly" headlock with Lotren now putting on a more chill demeanor.

Lotren: Tell you what, to keep this little sorry "peace" thing you got going on for whatever reason. I'll go with this guy, whatever issue they have with you will become MY problem. Well, more like i'll become theirs depending on what happens. Deal?

Rutaba hovered there with his fists still clenched, trying to wrap his head around everything that’s going on at once.

One second, this Superman guy was talking to him, trying to get him to sit this one out. The next second, the big Saiyan got owned by the mysterious Saiyan that Rutaba called the purple guy— blood and everything — and Superman just disappeared and let out a loud, big yell that made the air shake. The shockwave hit Rutaba hard, and he grunted and said, “ Wow, this Superman Saiyan guy is something else.” Rutaba started sliding back midair as he felt the energy from the Superman Saiyan’s yell. Rutaba’s ears were ringing from that yell.

Then a giant green dragon appeared out of nowhere on the top of the ship, spreading its wings so wide it blocked some of the sun. Then Mokaryu came back and was sitting on the Superman Saiyan’s shoulder, and Rutaba was thinking to himself and was saying, “ Me and Mokaryu never did finish our fight. I still wanted to get my revenge from all of those roundhouse kicks. I’m getting dizzy thinking about it.”

Rutaba’s eyes went super wide.

“What the heck is going on here?”

His tail swayed back and forth hard behind him. He was feeling his power return. Rutaba wanted to transform back into his Super Saiyan form again and kick some butt instead of just floating around, but he didn’t have a plan. Rutaba said to himself, “Normally, I’d rush in blind and end up getting wrecked, but for some weird reason, something tells me that I should wait for the right time.” M

Everything was moving so fast and happening so fast. Rutaba was still excited about all of the weird Saiyans appearing out of nowhere and how strong they were. Rutaba wasn’t scared. He had a huge grin on his face. Rutaba trained for a while since the last encounter with Superman, Mokaryu, and the green guy, but he had no clue that Saiyans were with them and that the Superman guy was half Saiyan. Rutaba knew that the Saiyans had evil intentions, but Rutaba didn’t know how to go about it. Rutaba thought about what the Superman Saiyan guy told him, and maybe he was right. Maybe he should just stay put and not attack yet.

So Rutaba just floated there and said, “OK, I’ll chill out for now, Superman, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving. I’m here to stay, and also, you’re going to have to tell me all these people’s names. I’m tired of sounding stupid.”

As fast as he was for his age and strength, she never realized just how fast he was until she landed on his shoulder and approached him, only to experience the scariest thing imaginable: hearing his thundering roar drowning her out and riding a hybrid at faster-than-light speed, with her hair flying back from it and her body nearly thrown off. After gripping his hair tightly and holding on tightly, it suddenly ended, and she was breathing hard from the shock, glaring at Sparga as the other Saiyans were bewildered at how he moved from one spot to another. She then turned back to stare at the invaders before raising her tail in irritation because they took her rival's attention, flicking her tail quickly and sending rods reduced to microscopic size straight for the Saiyan near Lotren's location before returning them to their original size, with several rods impaling him through his neck and chest, resulting in his instant death. "Honestly, you interrupted me while I was talking," she huffs, upset with Sparga and the invaders.

She stares down at the Beyga, who was trying to recruit Lotren and kill her rival, merely giving him a cold stare, unleashing a huge level of ki from her body while Miso summons a green dragon hovering over the ship. "Honestly, we should kill them; can't have survivors reporting back to their master," she says to everyone in range, her tail swishing side to side, a sign of irritation and chaotic wrath ready to be unleashed. "And Greenie is right, this man is a monster, i would know personally," she says, letting a small smirk show before disappearing just as quickly "What you think?" she says to Lotren, wishing to get him to agree with her.

With Miso’s massive dragon looming overhead and the heavy shudder of its scales rumbling with each growl and breath it took, the light and energy that formed the wyrm made it feel less like a construct of thought and imagination and more like a living creature whose heart beat and mind gave the impression of genuine life and thought. To create an almost perfect imitation of life with a Green Lantern Ring was no easy accomplishment, and Sparga would love to admire the kind of willpower and creativity one needed to produce such a construct. But he had to deal with the scene around him first. Most of the other Saiyans were frozen in disbelief, his reputation doing the work for him to make them falter - a fact he was grateful for. He didn’t want this to get uglier than it needed to. Which is why he wasted no time in brushing a hand across his shoulder to wipe Mokaryu off of his body since she was so insistent on hitching a ride that he never gave permission for. When he felt the ripple in the air of her sending those rods out again, his opposite hand whipped out to catch the microscopic materials before they could thrust out to harm the other Saiyans and when they returned to full size in his grasp, they crumbled and shattered into powder in his grip before they could impale anyone else.

Sparga: “If you hurt a single person here, you’ll wish you stayed on your ship.”

His warning delivered to the woman, he turned his attention back to Lotren and Beyga, who was still reaching for his wrist-mounted blaster before Lotren could reach past him and take it. But he paused as the opposing Saiyan did so and stiffened while listening to his words. If Lotren was willing to join him, then this could be useful. A warrior of his caliber could be of great use to his King. He wasn’t as strong as King Broloc, but a true Saiyan with this kind of strength could easily be of use in destroying the abomination before them. And once he was educated about what kind of affront to all laws of nature that the Saiyan-Kryptonian hybrid was, then he’d surely see reason. Right? When Lotren wrapped an arm around Beyga’s shoulder, the Captain grimaced and scowled at the facade of friendliness that was almost too obviously a front to be sincere. But he could still use this.

And the hybrid seemed to at least be mildly interested in the offer.

Sparga quirked a brow in curiosity as he gave another wipe of his hand across his shoulder to make sure Mokaryu vacated off of him. His tail whipped lazily behind him in an almost dismissive and bored demeanor before he shrugged and responded to Lotren.

Sparga: “You seem as hot-blooded as most other Saiyans. But I appreciate you at least being willing to pretend like peace means something to you. These people deserve a chance to make better choices. Everyone deserves that chance.”

He looked around at the other Saiyans, Beyga included, who looked like he wanted to spit at Sparga’s face but was biting down on the urge with every fiber of his being. And while he still wasn’t fond of her, he was also referring to Mokaryu. Everyone deserved a chance to make the right choice and be better. He believed in that with every inch of his being - he had to. The symbol on his chest demanded that belief. The belief defined him, and if someone had the insight to gleam a little deeper into how heavy his conviction was, they’d sense a glimmer of the guilt and melancholy that weighed on his heart, like there was a failure in his past he would never repeat, no matter how much it might cost him to prevent it.

It made Beyga sick to his stomach to know a Saiyan sullied their blood and honor with a concept like mercy or compassion. Lotren might view him as a coward for his tactics, but a half-breed freak who refused to fight like a true Saiyan wasn’t worthy of being fought under honorable pretenses. And if not for Lotren being so close and having his arm around his neck right now, Beyga would have a perfect shot lined up…

But the opportunity presented before him was one worth taking, even if it meant missing the shot he came all the way to this backwater world for. And so he’d have to relent and accept the proposal that was clearly one he was in no position to refuse, and his stomach turned as Sparga continued to speak.

Sparga: “If you promise no harm will come to them after you all leave, then fine. Please, teach them better. You’re clearly strong, but remember; Restraint is also a valuable weapon in a warrior’s arsenal. True strength is knowing when to hold back.”

He sincerely doubted his words would matter much to any of them, but he still had to try.

As Miso’s dragon snarled low with each breath it took, the Green Lantern kept his arms crossed as he hovered closer and let Sparga do the talking. He was focused on making sure nobody got twitchy. The Superman was focused and alert, his body language was still tense and Miso had spent enough time out on the field with him now to have learned the particular tells Sparga had when he was on guard, but he was still here to protect his partner.

Once he was sure that the tension was sufficiently defused, he waved to Rutaba to gesture for him to come closer. Sensing that things might be safe enough, he’d let the kid take a closer look.

Miso: “You really gonna let these guys just leave? No telling what they just tried to blast you with.”

Sparga: “I have my suspicions. But like I said; Everyone deserves a chance to make better choices.”

He meant that. And deep down, he wanted all of the people around him right now to internalize that ideal. And admittedly? Part of him was curious what Lotren’s plan for all of this was. And he wanted to see what came of it.
