The Following Rules must be adhered to in order to participate.
Before you begin to read the codex of the Group RolePlay, which has been constructed, evaluated, and empowered by the Group Administration and its leadership, you hereby agree that you will abide by the following rules: Main rules in this group, T-1 RP Restriction Rules, as well as general good behavioral practices.
Should you choose to disagree, which you may further proceed to reach out to an Admin via direct messages or through the Community Discord, or should you violate one of the rules below, you will be judged by the leadership, in case the leadership itself is absent, which shall be respectively pardoned, you will then be judged by the Group Administration. Judgment by the Administration or by its leadership can determine whether or not your membership in this group is terminated (which then you should receive a private message from its leadership /council with the specific reason for terminating your membership in the group), or you can be given a second chance to reflect upon the executed action. Furthermore, the Administration and its leadership shall thoroughly investigate before rendering further judgment. While investigating, relevant RP that is in process shall be halted for investigation until a judgment has been given. Only then RP can resume or end.
The council and its leadership are people that attempted to create this group to further help people in the DBZ RP community. These selected individuals are unbiased and remain uncorrupted. Their decisions should have no ill intentions to the members of the group, but instead are to make RP in this group enjoyable and are to further advise the members with good intentions. Should any individual of the Group Administration violate these terms, they shall be instantly stripped of their title and shall be terminated by decision of the rest of the council, its leadership and the members of the group, should it need be.

The Rules
As is typical of any large community-based Role-Playing group, the acts of Metagaming, Godmodding, Puppeting, and Auto-Hitting are strictly forbidden. Any instances of these actions being taken will necessitate immediate action from Group Administration. Admins will then act as a Judge to determine if these actions constitute any of the following offenses and will determine the necessary punishment on a case-by-case basis.
Time Limits & Violations
Real life will always come first.
This is not up for debate.
People have lives and responsibilities outside of this community that will always take priority. However, just as you and I have things we must attend to first before we can participate here, so too do everyone else in this community. And it is paramount to respect that, as much as we all have responsibilities here, it is not fair to expect anyone to wait for you indefinitely while life happens.
With this in mind, you have a maximum of 48 Hours to reply to any active Role-Plays you are engaged in when your turn to respond comes. If those 48 hours pass, a Group Admin will reach out to you to make sure you will be posting soon. At that point, you will have another 24 hours to reply to the Admin, either to inform them of any issues that may be delaying your participation and that you will need an extension, or to confirm that you will write your response as soon as possible.
Ideally, you will inform all active participants in any ongoing Role-Play threads that your responses will be delayed first before requiring a group admin to contact you. If that full time frame passes without any indication that you will be responding soon, any active Role-Plays you are in will skip you until your next turn comes back around. This will also apply if you make assurances that you will post a response soon and then fail to do so.
Role-Playing is a collaborative effort that depends on mutual investment, communication, and respect for one another's time. While real-life obligations understandably take priority, it is equally important to maintain communication to ensure all involved parties are aware of such obligations as well as to be mindful of the commitments we make to others in shared spaces like this. When one participant is left waiting indefinitely, especially after receiving multiple reassurances, it places an unfair burden on their time and enthusiasm.
While we will always respect you prioritizing your own life outside of this community, failure to respect the time and commitment of other members of this community will not be overlooked, and no one will be expected to wait until you are ready to commit to being here.

Character Biographies
A Character Biography is required to participate in this community. Failure to provide one means any attempts to join an active Role Play are voided by default.
Character Biographies may be submitted via an approved template or via a relevant linked Wikia Page of your character that you crafted. All Character Biographies and any relevant information must be open and available to all members.
Portraying a character seen in the official series or from another fan series is strictly forbidden. Group Administration may portray these characters as NPCs and NOT as their main character. Any non-Admin participants who violate this rule will be given a warning. Admins who seek to portray a character from the official release as anything beyond an NPC will be given a warning, and if necessary, have their administration privileges revoked.

Regarding Character Death
So because death is normally pretty inconsequential in the Dragon Ball World, we're going to limit that. Even without the Dragon Balls, characters have been shown to have ways of being revived or even making an impact while still considered dead. With that in mind, we will be limiting it to a single character death and revival, regardless of means of resurrection. So if a character dies and is brought back to life through means of magic, such as Whis reviving Frieza, that character cannot die and later be resurrected with the Dragon Balls. This is to ensure that death has an impact on the story of this Role-Play. So be careful and safe, you only get one chance!
If your character dies permanently after resurrection, you can create another character and begin a new journey, or use another character you have!

Battles & Challenges
I mean, it's why we're here right? What's a Dragon Ball story without some good, old-fashioned combat! As such, Battle Threads with nothing held back are to be done in the Arena Mode, either in the Free Sparring category or in one of our many tournaments! But there are a few rules: The Challenger forfeits all rights to decide how it goes down. You want to fight someone, you have to play by their rules. The Challenged has the default right to choose Location, Time, whether the match is Canon or Non-Canon to both character's stories, etc. Naturally, the Challenged may allow the Challenger options or may allow them to decide certain things. But by default, the Defender has first choice. This rule is in place because when you challenge someone to a battle, they are allowed the choice of how it will play out and are given the default right to settings because it is them defending and not the challenger.
All battles done in Arena Mode, regardless of the IC and OOC nature of why they are being conducted, are required to have a Judge ready and available at the beginning of the match. Any battle conducted without an agreed upon Judge before the beginning of the thread will be voided and discredited. The reason for this is that, even among friends and peers, Combat Role-Play is by its very nature competitive. And because nobody enters into a competitive event with the desire to lose, we all have at least some small level of bias toward ourselves with the desire to win. As a result, an unbiased third party is required to be present and available in order to offer a perspective unclouded by the nature of competition.
Failure to approve of this will result in immediate disqualification of both combatants.
Dragon Ball as a franchise is a series rooted in the philosophy of hard work and growth, and having a peer who can call us out when mistakes are made in our writing can help us learn how we can improve and grow as fighters and as writers. Rejection of this philosophy and of approved Judges present in Combat-focused RP stands in direct opposition of the concept of each of us being willing to hold ourselves accountable to the idea that we can always continue learning and getting stronger.

Outside Conflict
If you have an issue with another group member, your first natural course of action should be to resolve it amicably like adults. You will always have the option to reach out and handle it on your own. Ideally, this should be done first. If it becomes a larger issue that affects the community, Group Administration will have to step in; At which point, warnings may be issued to the involved parties. Repeated offenses will result in escalated punishment appropriate to the issue.
No Generative AI
The use of Generative AI (I.E., AI art and/or writing) is stricly forbidden, and a single report of potential usage of it will be investigated. Confirmation of use of Generative AI will result in immediate termination of your account, as well as permanent expulsion and banning from the community.
As this is a role-playing community with a heavy emphasis on Dragon Ball, we find it disrespectful to both Akira Toriyama's legacy and lessons. Taking the easy way out to instantly create art is seen as a spit in the face of the lesson that the Dragon Ball franchise teaches that hard work and determination to achieve your goals is its own reward, as well as being a spit in the face to all the artists who were inspired by Toriyama Sensei's own art and storytelling.
Generative AI undermines those ideals that inspired us and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

No Bigotry
This really should go without saying. But it's also good housekeeping.
Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Sexual Harassment, or other forms of Bullying are unacceptable, and a single report and confirmation of engaging in this kind of behavior can and will result in immediate termination of your account, as well as permanent expulsion and banning from the community.
If you believe that a person is engaging in these acts, please bring relevant proof forward to a Group Admin, and the appropriate actions will be taken immediately.
