Personality: Calm and collected, Kado regularly prefers to keep his distance from others due to his social anxiety and lack of understanding of emotions. He is a man of very few words, coming off as emotionless and indifferent to most events, showing a very no-nonsense attitude, getting straight to the point. After he befriends Sayuki, she introduces him to new things, going to have a subconscious emotional attachment to her. His Saiyan genetics urge him to adapt, perfect, and even mimic different sources of power. An expert in his craft, Kado shows tremendous confidence and fortitude in any challenge presented before him. His view of the world is based on what he's experienced. More to his unwavering commitment and resolve, Kado wouldn't back down, choosing to proceed, gain experience even when at a disadvantage. He is donning an optimistic mindset, having the drive to turn the tables on his opponent. At the same time, he is a very astute and intuitive individual, constantly perceiving the situation at hand, determining how best to handle it. He can be cocky at times of battle; only if he's optimistic will he be victorious as a result. Most recognize him as a gifted prodigy with an endless amount of potential.
When he joined the Time Patrol after Sayuki's kidnapping, he became more interactive with the Team. During the Black Adam mission, he endured situations that made him step out of his comfort zone. Despite his discomfort, it's helped him develop more interactive skills little by little. However, he holds onto his serious attitude in battle, not taking his opponent lightly unless necessary. He shows mercy only to those who genuinely deserve it; he can see through people's facades, making him somewhat brutal. During his training development, he's managed to maintain a calm state almost passively, allowing him to bring out more of his potential.
During his time in Universe 6 with Planet Sadala, the Saiyans among the Planet, including Kefla and Cabba, labeled him "The Hunter" because of his mysterious prowess. He never invested time or energy into what others thought of him unless it came down to his social anxiety; he did things independently.
Although, his alter-ego Wraith (レイス Reisu; Lit meaning: "Restless ghost"), is similar to Kado in terms of personality. However; instead of Kado's traditional expressionless demeanor, Wraith is perceived to be despairing.
He shows respect to his higher-ups and his mentors; however, his relationship with Zankai is what he values the most because they had that father-son type of connection. He expressed not much passion on the exterior, but deep down, Kado is grateful for all Zankai has done for him. The same could be said for Vados. However, Vados is more invested in the potential Kado had dormant inside him. She managed to help him embrace more of his hidden potential.
